“The project “Queen Classics” by Vlad Maistorovici is in permanent transformation, a personal approach to this eclectic music that combines academic music with rock, jazz and musical. The concept was born out of my desire to perform as a violinist the fabulously energetic music of Queen. In classical spirit, every note of the original songs is respected and recreated through the prism of classical and avant-garde instrumental techniques, the formula of quartet, string orchestra and percussion emulating the interpretive style of the four members of Queen, in a show that is in the same chamber music time and rock concert.” – Vlad Maistorovici.
