“REQUIEM”, by Giuseppe Verdi, triumphantly closed the 2018-2019 season of the “Paul Constantinescu” Ploiești Philharmonic. For a concert-event that will mark the 110th anniversary since the birth of the composer Paul Constantinescu (born on June 30, 1909 in Ploiești), together with the symphony orchestra of Ploiești, which will have the young Vlad Vizireanu at the conductor’s desk, the soloists will perform Irina Iordăchescu – soprano, Sorana Negrea – mezzo-soprano, Mihai Urzicana – tenor, Marius Boloş – bass and Ploiești Philharmonic Choir – conductor Eduard Dinu. At the opening of the program you will be able to listen to the Concert for String Orchestra – Part II, a work signed by Paul Constantinescu.
